| Based out of Toronto, The Irvine/Kearney Express is a traditional jazz group featuring the vocal stylings of Liam Kearney, a classically trained multi-instrumentalist from Elliot Lake and the marvelous rhythmic chops of Spencer Irvine, hailing from St George. Though they specialize in standards from the 40's and 50's, I/KE also cover pop music of the 60's and 70's (Beatles, Paul Simon) with a jazz sensibility. The story is north meets south, jazz meets classical, old meets new, and as these different backgrounds mix, the outcome is an exciting blend of traditional jazz with a twist of youthful energy. Spencer and Liam are the core of a combo that is in constant flux by design, hiring different players to achieve a fitting sound for every event. If your bowl of ice cream is classic American swing, and the cherry on top is a modern twist on tradition, then The Irvine/Kearney Express is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth. |

A native of Scarborough Ontario, Johnny as a young guitarist was mostly interested in
Rock and Classical music. After graduating in 1994 from Humber College, a school known
for its excellence in Jazz tuition, Jazz became Johnny’s new love especially the genre of
Jazz Fusion. Now some twenty years later Johnny has made a career out of music in
composition, arranging, producing, teaching and being a studio musician. He is the owner
of a music school in Brantford called “Johnny’s Guitar School”, and he also owns a
recording studio called “JGS Studios”. Johnny has also performed with artists like Pat &
Debbie Boone, Gary Hoey, Andy Timmons, Mark Masri, Robin Mark, Kathy Triccoli, and
many more. Johnny will be playing with some of Ontario’s finest musician assembled just
for todays performance (because they are all too busy to perform with on a regular
basis), and he will be performing music from his 4 albums that he has released to date.

MICHAEL KEYS & COMPANY "Easy Jazz" Trio
Michael is the Vocalist, Keyboard Bassist and Keyboardist for the Trio. The
"Company" is Saxophonist Michael Francis and Drummer Kenny Balbar.
Together they are the Trio with the "Quintet" sound! Michael calls his music
"Easy Jazz" and defines it as a smooth blend of Easy Listening, Jazz and
Blues. He says it's a natural progression of his four decades plus experience
as an Entertainer.
