Goodman.  His recordings include several instrumental
discs and many jazz CDs with the Boss Brass, Singers
Unlimited, The Hi Lo's and others. He frequently takes to the
stage as leader of The Guido Basso dance band and the

Terry Clarke - In 1970 Clarke settled in Toronto, at first
working with Lenny Breau, and quickly became the city's
leading studio drummer, noted for his versatility in jazz and

and concerts, and on radio and TV, as a member of the Boss
Brass and of small groups led by Don Thompson, Ed Bickert,

influence of his early models, Oscar Peterson and Horace
Silver, he has accompanied several leading US musicians in
their Canadian appearances, including Buddy DeFranco,
Milt Jackson, Sonny Stitt, and Joe Williams at Pepe's in
Halifax. In 1979 he toured in the USA with David Clayton-
Thomas and Blood, Sweat & Tears.

jazz, Dave Young was honoured at “The 2003, 2004, 2005,
and 2006 National Jazz Awards” as “Jazz Bassist of the
Year” . The award was richly deserved, and is a tribute to
Dave Young's highly developed musical sensibility,
versatility and life-long commitment to Jazz.
